Art Education Certificate 

Richard Cutrona is an artist, educator, and independent curator, living and working in New Jersey, USA. He holds a BFA in photography, and an art education certificate, from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He also holds an MFA in visual arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a mixed media artist, specializing in stereoscopic practices, his work has been exhibited at internationally recognized commercial galleries, such as Christie’s Haunch of Venison, Marianne Boesky Gallery, Nancy Hoffman Gallery, and IFAC New York. Richard has produced several short films, his documentary on the history, culture, and contemporary practice of stereoscopic art, “Flip World,” was screened at Skylight Gallery NYC, in 2015. As a curator, he is the founder of Good Question Gallery Curatorial Projects, through which he’s curated nearly fifty exhibitions of visual art. Richard’s work has been reviewed in Art Scope New England, and The Boston Globe. He has been invited to lecture at universities across the United States, including The University of Alaska Anchorage, Eastern Connecticut State University, and Fitchburg State University. Richard Cutrona is represented by Demouzy Contemporary in New York, and Kunstleben Berlin in Germany.
